"Life after Life," the book by Dr. Raymond Moody's MD, Ph.D. was the book I read back in 1996 when my fear of death first occurred. Ironically, it was the last book my Dad requested to read before his death in May 2010. I was amazed by the thousands of thousands of similar stories people shared about what they experienced just before they died. Of course, these people all had Near Death Experiences, NDE's, and came back to tell these incredible stories. Skeptics say that perhaps people simply experience these visions as a result of their brains shutting down, and its normal to the death process. I find it curious that there has been many documented BLIND people (many blind from birth) that have accurately seen colors and events with 'eyes.' This has not yet been explained by the skeptics!
I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Moody in October 2010 as he introduced his new book, Glimpses of Eternity. Dr. Moody has collected thousands of examples of Shared Death Experiences, SDE's, many of which he includes in his book. How is it possible for others to witness the same mental pictures and experiences of a dying person if they are not in that person's body?
